Most people will tell you that they don’t like change. I don’t blame them when that change is a falling stock market or losing your job. It can be very upsetting. I don’t want to make light of that but change is just change. It can be good or bad depending on how you view it.
Most of us like change when it comes to decorating. A new coat of paint makes everything look clean and fresh. The first real snowfall covers over the dirt and makes the world look fresh. That’s the kind of change I am thinking of.
When you first hang a poster, it seems to pop on your wall. Over time you get used to it and barely see it. Why not shake things up a little and find a new place to hang it? Alternatively, buy a new one and change them out from time to time. I know people who change their pictures according to the seasons. It’s not that they are tired of them but by cycling through them, they avoid the cluttered look and appreciate each one all the more. The nice thing about it is that this works whether you are in a dorm room, an office or your home. Get the most out of your decor with change.

We are living in tough times. Every news broadcast brings worse news about the banks and the stock market. It is hitting home as some college students are finding their loans tied up for the forseeable future.
In the middle of all of this, I have a question. Is your light still shining? Christianity always grows more in times of trouble than it does when everything is gravy. When men are looking at the financials and wondering what they are going to do to survive, we know the God Who spoke the end from the beginning. None of this surprises Him. If you can draw near to Him now when everything else seems to be going to Hell, then your light will shine in the midst of darkness.
Posters are a strong witness to everyone around you. As they proclaim your Christianity and God’s peace guards your heart, don’t be surprised when the people you see every day suddenly want to talk.

There is a Christian broadcast that asks, “Does your life show enough evidence?”
The pressures in society today are to be “socially acceptable”. If you live your life in such a way that it makes someone else uncomfortable, then you are not socially acceptable. Sometimes the Church isn’t much better. It is always easier to conform to the status quo.
God doesn’t cater to comfort zones. He has the right of the creator over His creation. He alone has the right to set the standards for:
- RIGHTEOUSNESS
- TRUTH
- JUSTICE
- JUDGMENT
- EXTREME LOVE
- MERCY
If you know the God who loves you so much that He gave everything for You, isn’t it time you made a radical statement for Him? What you wear, where you go, even what you hang on your walls makes a statement and it is important.
Do your friends know what you stand for even if you don’t say anything? What kind of evidence is there in your life that witnesses of Him?

I am so excited to launch this site today. In a time when the economy is shaking and fear is trying to gain the upper hand, building this site is a step of Faith. Posters aren’t a major expense but they are something extra. After all, you can’t eat them.
As a Christian in these troubled times, it’s more important than ever to let our light shine. That is why it is so important to post something that speaks to those around us. You never know who is looking or what will touch their heart. The very fact that you can smile when the world seems to be coming apart at the seams may be the loudest witness you have and a poster can explain it to those around you. What an opportunity to share the Gospel.
